The Story Behind the Shirt

People ask us all the time “what does the shirt mean”? It basically means that we have a passion for the “life of 17” and the experience of living here on the coast of South Carolina. That pride and passion is demonstrated by highlighting the road that takes you on the journey of life through the coast.

We wanted our shirts to be different, eye catching, a conversation starter. It gives people a great way to tell others about “17” and the life we live here on the coast. The quality of life and natural beautiful surrounding make this the perfect place to live. The beaches, golf courses, cuisine, people, small communities along the coast, and definitely the laid back attitude make this a special place.

We are very passionate about the coastal region of South Carolina and we love the life that is associated with it. The logo gives us the opportunity to express that. The original “17” shirt is being taken back to towns all across America with a reminder of coastal breezes, draping live oaks, cozy beach houses, oyster roasts, and long sunsets.

It’s a way of life,… the LIFESTYLE17. There really is nothing else like it.
